The best time to visit the sanctuary is between November and March, when the weather is pleasant, and the wildlife is most active.

Bethuadahari Wildlife Sanctuary also has historical and cultural significance. It is believed to have been a favorite hunting ground of the Mughal emperors. The sanctuary also has a temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, which attracts pilgrims from all over the region.
